Why it Works:

We Are Warriors exists to help Indigenous youth realise their greatness, but they can’t be what they can’t see. So our project makes Indigenous success stories more visible.

Wear Your Warriors is more than just a one-day screen printing booth. It allows allies and Indigenous warriors alike to become ‘walking billboards’ that amplify Blak excellence.  Therefore Indigenous youth can see examples of their culture’s achievements throughout the year. For all 365 days.

We want Indigenous youth to see their people in boardrooms, on the centre stage, doing what they love and excelling. To bridge a participant’s understanding of WAW’s mission, we’ll have the Warriors themselves screenprinting the designs on participants’ garments and encouraging conversation that fosters an understanding, empathy and a firm resolve to commit to WAW’s cause and wear their values- demonstrating their support of We Are Warriors and Indigenous youth everywhere.
